The STIHL GTA 40 is perfect for tree and shrub care, professional horticulture and landscaping, and processing wood on construction sites. Trained arborists can also use it for pruning within the crown of standing trees. For precise handling, it features an ergonomically shaped operating handle with a hand guard and an upper grip point for the second hand, designed to prevent slipping. The claw-shaped deflector mechanism separates the upper grip area from the cutting attachment.
