The STIHL BGA 160 Battery Blower delivers consistent high performance from start to finish. Designed for both demanding homeowners and professional cleaning tasks, it’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and impressively quiet—perfect for noise-sensitive areas.

With adjustable blowing force, boost mode for maximum power, and ergonomic design for fatigue-free work, the BGA 160 makes clearing leaves, grass, and debris effortless. Its splash-proof build ensures reliability even in rainy conditions, while tool-free tube removal and wall-hanging options make storage simple.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP System have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others. The STIHL BGA 160 is also suitable for use in rainy conditions.

to quickly switch to maximum blowing force. extra pressure on the trigger switch of your stihl blower immediately activates maximum blowing force. this happens regardless of the pre-selected power level and without having to change your grip position.

splashwater protection. the ipx protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. the moisture protection test is defined in different stages. ipx4 certifies protection against splash water from all sides. battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
integration into stihl connected. the power tool is compatible with the smart connector, meaning it can be integrated into the stihl connected system. once you have attached a smart connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the stihl connected app via bluetooth. in addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition.
