With an impressive total length of up to 330 cm, the STIHL HLA 86 battery long-reach hedge trimmer is expertly designed for the maintenance of tall hedges, bushes, and even ground-level plants. This tool is highly regarded by professionals in gardening and landscaping, local authorities, and caretakers for its exceptional ergonomics, attributed to the lightweight square telescopic shaft.

The long-reach hedge trimmer allows for an additional 70 cm of reach without the need for tools, ensuring versatility and ease of use. Its double-sided cutting blades deliver a precise and clean cut, powered by a quiet EC engine, making it suitable for operation in noise-sensitive areas such as residential neighborhoods.

For convenient transport, the adjustable cutter bar can be folded parallel to the shaft. The cutter bar offers a wide range of adjustment, up to 115° (-45° to +70°). The control handle, equipped with a self-resetting locking lever, is designed for both right-handed and left-handed users. Additionally, the handle bar features an anti-slip guard, ensuring efficient and safe operation at all times.

easy starting. to start the power tool, all you need to do is release the lock using the locking switch. the power tool can then be started using the trigger. the additional ergo lever enables continuous work without having to restart. the self-resetting locking switch prevents accidental activation of the power tool. operation is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.

splashwater protection. the ipx protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. the moisture protection test is defined in different stages. ipx4 certifies protection against splash water from all sides. battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
