The KM 56 RC-E KombiEngine is part of the STIHL family of multi-use tools. Featuring a new low-emission, fuel-efficient engine plus the Easy2Startâ„¢ system for effortless starting; this unit allows the user to mix and match attachments (sold separately) for a range of tasks including trimming, cultivating, edging, pruning, sweeping and much more. Perfect for tasks around the home and light landscaping jobs.

effortless starting. stihl ergostart saves you energy when starting your power tools. a smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. the required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.
for fewer starting strokes. the manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the power tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier this is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. to use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. this will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.
for safe work in small spaces. the loop handle ensures good manoeuvrability of your power tool, even in confined spaces. the barrier bar protects you by ensuring your feet and legs cannot come too close to blades or mowing heads during work.
for comfortable transport and storage. thanks to the detachable shaft, you can quickly dismantle your power tool for easier transport, and also store it in a space-saving manner. you do not need any tools to disassemble the shaft.
reliable starting. the electronic ignition system ensures reliable starting and trouble-free engine running. the high ignition voltage of the fully enclosed ignition system ensures a stable ignition spark and a long spark burn time. this also improves fuel combustion and reduces exhaust emissions.
quick assembly of kombitools. thanks to the quick-release coupling, the various kombitools for your power tool can be connected and disconnected quickly and without tools.
restart work quickly. with the stop button, you can switch off your power tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. as the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. this provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
