PolyCut 6-2 Line Head

Domestic users value the STIHL PolyCut 6-2 mowing head as an efficient universal cutting tool for clearing jobs and working across large spaces in residential areas. The mowing head is specially designed for use with lightweight STIHL battery and gas-driven brushcutters.

The PolyCut 6-2 has two moving plastic blades. Compared to mowing heads with three moving blades, the energy requirement is reduced when mowing, which increases the operating time when used with battery brushcutters. The slightly raised cutting height reduces undesired blade contact with the ground; this stops them from being subjected to excessive wear.

The STIHL PolyCut 6-2 is ideal as a cutting tool for the following STIHL gas-driven brushcutters:

• FS 38
• FS 40
• FS 50

You can also use the PolyCut 6-2 with the STIHL FS 45 gas-driven brushcutter (discontinued).

The STIHL PolyCut 6-2 mowing head is also suitable for the following STIHL battery brushcutters:

• FSA 60 R
• FSA 86 R

The PolyCut 6-2 mowing head is also compatible with the STIHL KombiTool FSB-KM brushcutter.

Note: Mowing heads may only be used with a special mowing guard or a STIHL universal guard for mowing heads and metal tools.
